Nova Star at Gala OC

This is my OC, Nova (I fucked up on her cutie mark though, my bad). She's an earth pony and an astronomer and engineer. I'm hoping to maybe write a few stories about her as I've created a rather complex head canon for her. In my head canon for this picture, Derpy surprises Nova with a hidden talent and does Nova's hair for the party since Nova has really no sense of style. (Also, Nova's tail is shorter than normally, but I figure, hey, ponies get hair cuts too.)
